I used to watch this show back in the day when Kay used to drink. Now that was an alcoholic storyline well written. (Take a hint, Guza!) Jeannie Cooper is a wonderful actress. I about cried when she won the Emmy, FINALLY!

Ok, so I, like, never watch this show, but my BFF & her husband (mostly her husband) watch everyday, & I know enough to know who is who & so forth, & I just stopped by to say...

I can't believe they killed Brad Carlton!!! & Nick & Sharon are trapped together & they had sex? What is this GH?

Yeah Y&R is definitely starting to lose it...here are my concerns:

1. The "Is the real Kay still alive??" storyline is old...we get it...let's just prove she's the real thing and move on already!
2. Cane finds out he is not the father but he still signs the papers?? WTF...I actually like him with Chloe because I think Lily is the most boring character alive but the way the writers wrote everyone's reaction was weird. Chloe didn't seem that sorry, Lily looked constipated and Billy looked like he was still hungover!
3. The whole SHARON/NICK/PHYLLIS storyline is so over...plz someone finally bury this! I love my Sharon and Nick but Phyllis' whole personality change is confusing and she seems like an idiot. Let's just find out that Nick is not Summer's father and have Phyllis back with Jack so they can cause some real hell.
4. EDEN~~Can we plz kill off this character??? I can't stand her voice, look, attitude...nothing about her interests me in the least!
5. Ashley needs to find a backbone when dealing with Victor...she seems to cower beneath him and it's annoying because she is one of the few STRONG women on this show!
6. Gloria Abbott... or whatever her last name is.(depends on who she married this week) let's boot her as well...she's just as bad as EDEN
7. JT?? What happened to him...ever since he married Victoria he became bore central.. Now that Colleen is taking over Brad's seat on the Newman Board...those two should get back together and raise some hell for Victor lol
8. Karen, Tyra and Ana...more useless characters...geez!! bring back Drucilla please!
9. What's up with Sharon going crazy and sleeping with Billy?? Where is her interaction with her son? She's off drinkin' it up with her ex husband's little brother while her son is sneaking off!

well I do agree with some things you said. I can barley tolerate Eden not to fond of Noah either, I hate the way the coddle him.

I thought finding out that Ashley was pregnant was totally ridiculous! I mean, how old is she ?45? How many kids does Victor need ?

Also not looking forward to Kevin taking the rap for the bombing, I can't even imagine those pics of him even look right. Who would take pictures of someone setting up a bomb anyway?

I'm back to watching Y&R again now that I am home. I've only watched for the past few weeks and the Katherine storyline is already getting to me..

And don't even get me started on Neil and Tyra - why did he even marry Karen?

Oh and Victor and Ashley having a baby??? How old is Victor supposed to be now and when will he stop fathering children..

Y&R is grating on my last nerve! I am totally sick of Katherine/Marge's storyline! Kevin going off the deep end *YAWN*, Tyra & Neil are boring as well even though I do believe he never should have married Karen. Nick/Sharon/Billy/Jack/Phyllis....beyond stupid. Nick just needs to pick one and THAT"S IT! I hear they're bringing Mack back...NO I LOVE Billy and Chloe! Hopefully the writers don't screw up this soap anymore and get it back on track like the old days!
