Sonny summoned Claudia, demanding to know if she narced on him to Jason about Karpov. "My brother's a fugitive," Claudia reminded, not having time for his nonsense. Of course, Kate interrupted. Claudia warned smug Kate to be prepared for mob threats, as "old habits die hard." Sonny assured Kate he wants a life with her. Meanwhile, Rick visited Jason at the coffeehouse on the pretense of Johnny/Lulu business. It was really to warn him about Anthony running amuck and to twist the knife about Sonny's betrayal. Jason didn't buy all the false sympathy. Over at the Metro Court, Carly and Anthony had a "pleasant" chat about Johnny and Lulu's predicament. Later, at that very bar, Kate confronted Claudia about her trying to "pull Sonny back into the Mob." Claudia's arched eyebrow broadcasted a clear "LOL! You are so naïve!" At the coffeehouse, Jason told Carly about how Johnny getting hurt could lead to a potential mess with Karpov. The Russian in question met with Sonny on the docks. They did business-like things as Claudia and Kate sparred. "He's borderline psycho," Claudia warned Kate of her fiancé. When Kate stormed off, Claudia told Rick he owed her. Jason told Carly there was nothing to worry about, but she didn't buy it. She arranged for Karpov to get a nice bottle of vodka and meet her for drinks. Nervous Spinelli returned to the coffeehouse, where Jason wondered why he was "twitching." Jackal confessed Maxie now knew about Karpov. Jason was not pleased. Claudia caught Ric up on the latest Karpov dealings and Ric knew "we'd be a good team." Elsewhere, Kate told Sonny that she's terrified for their future but she believed in him. "We're cool," she assured. Back at the coffeehouse, Spinelli's search turned up dire news about Karpov: His lady friends tended to turn up dead. Naturally, Carly was, at that very moment, flirting with the guy. Maxie showed up at GH and asked Elizabeth to page Matt, which just devolved into a roommate rant. "You're going to have to handle this yourself," Liz snapped, eliciting a Lucky/Maxie dig in return. On the docks, Lucky and Sam staged some sniping and then Lucky told his gal he's worried about her. When a dockworker came by, Sam slapped Lucky and railed at him for harassing her. "Be careful," he muttered. Meanwhile, Maxie offered Spinelli her help with his Jackal duties and Spin told her "Stone Cold would be most displeased" by her involvement. Kate interrupted them, going all Bridezilla, and Maxie deftly handled her temper. Back on the docks, Sam eyed some fallen boxes with suspicion and a dock thug told her to "leave it!" Then, Jerry strolled up, wondering what "Sweet Sam" was up to. In NYC, lovers-on-the-run Johnny and Lulu reveled in their AWOL-ness but there was an ominous pounding on the door from the cops, who burst in. Turns out, they were looking for Sal! Even more luckily, the cops were called to 5th and Broadway (two streets that do NOT intersect). Home at the Quartermaine manse, Tracy tried to track down Luke, to no avail. Then, Scotty showed up demanding Lulu's location. As he railed about Logan's murder, Anthony wheeled in. This did not improve matters...although Tracy and Anthony did get their flirt on. Scott spit out some more threats and when he left, Tracy's flirty façade dropped. Anthony warned the Qs he'd tear the town apart "brick by brick" if John came to harm because of Lulu. Speaking of them, Lulu was worried about Lourdes' crush on her guy. He kissed the fears away. Later, Lulu awoke to the sound of piano playing...and it was ghoulish Logan tinkling the ivories. _________________ Jason And Carly SOULMATES!! |
