Ok so since our fanfiction part of the board seems to be the part that most of us don't really pay any attention to I thought why not have a bit of a challenge.

What the fanficition challenge is it's a challenge for anyone that wants to take part. All you have to do is write a fanfction.

The ruels are as follows:

1. The challenge will start on the 1st of Agust everyone will have until Agust 23 to write their stories.
2. Than on the 24th they will all be posted at the same time.
3. People will have until the Agust 31 to read and chose your favorite stories.
4. Once you have read them all you will PM me with your favorite story.
This way no one will get hurt feelings over seeing a poll.

The onyl rules for the story are:
it can be as long or as short as you want.
(I suggust not make it too long since we will have tons of them to read)
The story must contain this sentence:

After all they have gone through they were finally home and for the first time at peace.
You can put in the story how ever you want.

Voting:
You dont' have to have a story in the challenge to PM your vote!
I only ask that you read every story before voting because everyone deserves for their story to be read.

So what do u think? Any questions?

Oh and I'll be making a banner for the winner as a prize.

OH i forgot another rule of this challenge is this story must be GH and it's characters! If u want to add a couple of your own characters that's fine but primarly Gh characters!

One question: I don't write fanfic. But I have one completed story from earlier this summer that I never posted here. Can I still use it? B/c I don't feel inspired @ all to write anything new. I can probably even find room for the required sentence. But I've got nothing new.

For this challenge the fanfic has to be new so everyone has the same amount of time to come up with one. You know to be fair and everything.

But the next challenge will be where u can post any fanfic that you have ever written in the contest.

Ohhh...ok. Yeah, I won't be entering this go-around...Nothing inspires me to write. If I think of something in the next few days, I'll sign up. But, I doubt it'll happen since my WIP's haven't been touched since late May, to be honest.

You Know Maxie...I'm thinking we should have some kind of a chapter limit...so nobody goes over board and makes the stories into a continuing drama...I know I am guilty of diong that so it would be a challenge for me even...but it will help keep down on the REALLY FOREALLY long stories to have to read in the end of the challenge.

While I hate putting a limit on someone creative juices... however I agree with you ISIS....hmmm how about a 6 chapter story? Does that sound ok...I'm not gonna give u guys a word limit or anything...Let's not make these chapters really really long cause u only have a month.

So i'm gonna trust that everyone will be responsible and keep it from being a novel. How does that sounds? Am open to other sugesstions.
