I read all seven books as soon as my daughter finished her copies, which was usually in the first 24 hours after it came out.

My son has renewed interest in them, He got books one and 7 for Christmas.

We just saw the Goblet of Fire. I borrowed it from someone at work.

You are not the only one Jen. My son likes the movies, but I skip them if I can manage it. I took him to see Order of the Pheonix & it was the longest 3 hrs. of my life. I am a smoker tho.

I liked the movies too.... we (my husband, kids, and I) always have great fun talking about our favorite parts, how they were different from the books, and what did and didn't work... Of course, now I don't remember any specifics.

Nope. We haven't really gotten into them either. Which is funny b/c I love urban fantasy/sci-fi stuff. Just never got into HP for some reason...

It really is a good series the first one was fun and light but as the stories go on it gets more interesting and dark.
