I've been wanting to see the movie and my dad lent me his DVD. I took the book out from the library, so I could read it before I watched the movie. However, I'm half way through the book and have almost stopped reading it a couple of times. It's pretty boring. For those who have read the book and seen the movie, should I trudge through the book? Also any opinions on the movie woulod be appreciated too. Thanks!

I have seen the movie but never read the book..honestly - i found the movie to be pretty dull..

I can see how the movie might not be too exciting due to the nature of the story. A couple of people I know on facebook read the book and liked the book better. So, who knows? I'll probably still watch the movie be/c I like Kate Winslet.
