So like I haven't made a thread for them because I show my LURVE all over the place...


HOWEVER...since these two have gotten ALOT of support form so many fans of the show...the thread is necessary.

When we take what a supercouple is...I mean like the definition of SUPERCouple...Many say it is Luke and Laura...and yes...while they were the first to get MAJOR publicity

Those of us who know ...know that the real first Supercouple was actually on DOOL in 75...

AND ON GH...the FIRST Supercouple was Alan and Monica. *although Steve and Audrey had QUITE a following for YEARS*

This past week's scene illustrated the AWESOMENESS that I've known about ever since I was four...and I'm SOO glad others are seeing it...

I miss seeing them REGULARLY together on my TV screen...

I miss the way Alan says "Monica"...and the was they banter back and forth, then like nothing embrace in a kiss...and more...I miss how easily Monica fits right into Alan's arms...like a hand in glove...I miss those looks that she would give him and ONLY him...and the way his voice would fluctuate and deepen ...ESP when he wanted something from her...like a little LURVIN'...I miss them meeting up in the halls of GH to steal a kiss or two or more...and making dates with one another...or plans to steal away to be together if only for a little while...esp when their schudules were nuts...

I miss them being in cahoots *sometimes with Edward included*...to take down whoever was messing with the Q family...I miss Alan being a little sweet and naive *but with those dark undertones about him* while Monica was no nonsense and street smart femme fatale who most often wasn't afraid to be a bit "naughty" if it meant helping the family...

I miss how they would interact with their kids...separately and together...

I JUST MISS THEM...

They were the reason I tuned in for over THIRTY years...racing home from school...and then work...they were a MUST on a daily...

and since GH hasn't featured them I've gotten disenchanted with the show...it is REALLY just not the same anymore...

To see them on Tuesday...TOGETHER...took me RIGHT BACK to a better time for GH and TV in general...and I TRULY miss that and want it back.

In 2003, is when I started paying real attention to GH and was very focused on Sam and anyone who loved and respected her.........and so I don't know much about Alan and Monica. However, I always enjoyed the Quartermaines and their hate-love relationships with one another (still do today). I wish we had more Edward and Clan daily----ALTHOUGH I HAPPEN TO BE DEEPLY FASCINATED WITH THE CASSADINES.........

When I saw them (Alan and Monica) again a few days ago, I couldn't stop admiring them together and wish that GH still had both of them in-tuned with, alive and loving each other. I also saw parallels with JaSam when Alan said that he had hurt his hands while saving Monica's life!!!!

I may love Sam, adore LuSam but damn; I do miss the Vintage (Old Classic JaSam).......and so I sort of know what you feel.......HERE IS TO LOVING AND MISSING ALAN & MONICA, the UNCONDITIONAL AND GREAT LOVING COUPLE!!!! :love: I hope you get to experience more of them on screen! :love:

Isis, that eppy made me cry! It took me back to when I feel in love with Alan and Monica. And yes, they are a Supercouple, and one of the best. Damn GH for killing off Alan!

You have known me a few years, and know how much I love Leslie and Stuart and how much they mean to me. I love them to pieces, and they really love their fans!!

Thank you for the true recap of Alan and Monica history!! Yeah....the writers love to change things to reflect any of their "Current" agendas!! Yesterday, I also got to see some of their old scenes....those two were amazing!!!! :applause:

Great LM...glad you had the chance to check them out...keep watchign them...it will make you see why we lurve them so much and hate what's become of the Qs in general...and why we want Monica to have more screentime...and for TIIC to bring back Alan.

the downside to watching all the great clips is that it really makes you see just how much we're getting the shaft today...how great the writing was back then and how painfully wrong it all is today.

I Miss Stuart Damon on Gh the show is not the same without him and ecspecially the Qs its really sad how much TIIC have Diminished this family and thats one of the Reasons i think they lost some Viewers The Qs are awesome and they never shoulda killed Alan,Emily or A.j off and they should bring Wally Kurth backk

The Quartermaines were such a well written family to begin with...and basically through Monica they branched off from the Webbers...another well written family...


Back in the day it was all about the Webbers and the Qs...with a little Spencer and Hardy in the mix for balance...and there was ALWAYS something about each of these families that drew you in...it didn't matter who your favorites were because they all had something to offer the viewers.

As quirky as the Qs were there was still a realness about them...they battled each other yet stood strong against any outsider...as the family grew the ties got stronger. How awesome it was to see Monica and Alan's little family GROW.

I hate what TIIC did to their family. I hate seeing Monica without the other half of her. It was great to see them turn from Monica and Alan to Alamoni...because in spite of all their trials we viewers pretty much knew all along that they really did belong together.

I really can't say too much about Alamoni, because I only started watching the show like in late '06 or early '07 and I have to admit that even before they killed Alan off, Alamoni was already getting the shaft.

I like the dynamic Alamoni had and I'm sad that they killed Alan off and turned Monica into a drunk.
