• Long story short: both Maxie and Spinelli arrive at the same conclusion at the conclusion of their nuptials. They’re better off as a couple in love than a married couple in love.
  
• The events leading up to their non-nuptials are, however, hilarious and poignant. Maxie can find no fault with any of the wedding touches, from the Buddhist garden location to the good advice given by Robin.
  
• Mac practically has cardiac arrest during the events leading up to the non-nuptials, including the wacky dress rehearsal.
  
• Somewhere along the way, Spinelli gets wind of Maxie suffering from severe cold feet about marriage but still loving him. She admits as much to Jason.
  
• Maxie’s pre-wedding bad dream doesn’t help matters.

• Spinelli gets it into his head that with the right vow, he can coax Maxie into being more positive about their nuptials. But then, as the day looms closer, his computer does a spin-out with the planned vows.
  
• Matt turns on the charms with Maxie, but it does nothing for her but reinforce her love for Spinelli.
  
• Spinelli persuades Jason into standing up for him, adding that he won’t have to dance.
  
• Best man Jason tries to give Spinelli a chill pill.
  
• Jason and Sam attend the wedding as a couple.
  
• Lulu reminds Maxie not to blow this, don’t stomp all over Spinelli by bolting.
  
• Robin and Lulu prepare Maxie for the nuptials, as Mac finally realizes it’s gonna happen, give up.
  
• Kate makes eyes with a character nobody expected her to notice, then bugs her eyes out at the sight of Olivia’s son, Dante, there at the wedding fun.
  
• Another pairing make it clear how much they love each other, ticking off a relation.
  
• The non-nuptial party continues at Jake’s bar with lively karaoke.
  
• At Jake’s, Carly experiences a kind of memorable deja-vu.
  
• Dominic re-doubles efforts to court Lulu.
  
• Sonny lays out a plan to Jason of what happens to Anthony should the old coot decide to lay into the mob again. It’ll be Johnny’s last breath.
  
• Jason debates as to whether Sonny’s plan has more to do with payback on Anthony or Johnny (for seeing Olivia).
  
• Claudia snoops on Sonny discussing hit plans with Jason, frowning with disapproval.
  
• Claudia uses this opportunity to manipulate Sonny into inseminating her for another child. She makes it look like she gets him in the Anthony/Johnny plan.
  
• Less talky, more screwy for Claudia and Sonny.
  
• Claudia lords her Sonny status over Carly, dropping the hint about trying again.
  
• Trying to avert disaster with Sonny and his hit-happy ways, Olivia splits up with Johnny. But what if Johnny doesn’t want to be split up with her?
  
• Olivia condemns Sonny, filled with enmity.
  
• Ronnie calls on recovering Dominic, handing him his cop badge, giving a pep talk about staying the course, and leaving the badge in plain sight of…
  
• …Lulu, who also calls on Dominic later.
  
• Lulu inquires about the police badge, forcing Dominic to make up a tall story.
  
• But what is Dominic going to do if/when Sonny walks in and sees that badge?
  
• Dominic is quite the popular man. Both Sonny and Jax/Carly invite him to recuperate at their respective places.
  
• Jax outs himself to Dominic, in terms of already knowing the undercover cop’s score. Jax says he’ll do whatever he can to accomplish the mission of putting Sonny into prison.
  
• Dominic goes for Sonny’s place, for obvious reasons.
  
• Lucky goes to Johnny with an arrangement in mind.
  
• Michael makes up his mind to return to his schooling.
  
• Michael bugs out at returning memories that seem to indict Sam, Claudia and even Jax, somehow.
  
• Carly and Jason make sure Michael understands it’ll be okay.
  
• Michael follows up a seeming memory of Sam visiting him at the institute. But Sam claims she was never there before.
  
• Michael’s returning memories place Claudia in a precarious admission.
  
• Because of Claudia’s kindness, Michael purposely selects Jax to eye with disregard.
  
• Nikolas attempts to use financial gain into inducing Ethan to removing Rebecca from his sight.
  
• Elizabeth suffers from guilt-addled afterglow, after sexing it up with Lucky.
  
• Elizabeth finds herself using Olivia as a sounding board about her triangle.
  
• Olivia projects her own triangle onto Elizabeth’s situation, preaching Lucky not Nikolas—because of the boys involved.
  
• And yet, when Elizabeth sees Nikolas smoldering at Jake’s, she can’t help but put her hands all over him.
  
• Sam smells a rat in Kiefer.
  
• Next week: Claudia uses her newfound gossip (about Dante, the undercover cop) to her advantage, when dealing with Olivia… Maxie and Spinelli go from engaged couple to committed couple—without the ball and chain. Just sit back and enjoy… Jason shows up at Sam’s stake-out, delighting and pleasing her… Patrick and Robin put themselves on the case of love… Olivia and Johnny admit that they aren’t just booty calls, there’s more, there’s love… Ethan and Lulu accept a delivery of a missive involving their troubled dad, Luke… The missive spurs Ethan and Lulu to chase after Luke before something even worse happens… Helena attempts to reach out to a busy, preoccupied Nikolas… Sonny notices Kristina has been battling some problematic issue… Kristina hires Sam for reinforcement… Sonny puts Johnny through the third degree… Sonny puts Dominic to a specific task… Michael takes up his returning memories with Claudia, since she’s featured in most of them.
