| I just wanted to tell you about seeing the Sex & the City movie Friday night. I am not going to spoil the movie for you, but I will tell you that it was wonderful. Definately . Anyways, my friend & I decided to see it opening night & to make it an event. We got our tickets for the 10:10 show a day early. She had to work until 8:00 & my son had a 5:15 basesall game, so we picked the 10 o'clock show. We got dressed up in our cutest most stylish outfits & high heels & we met at Applebee's for cosmopolitans before the movie. The at 9:45 we headed over to the theater. As we were standing outside (smoking before the movie started) we watched women of all age groups arrive in groups, all dressed to the hilt, & go in to this movie. Inside the theatre, there only were 2 empty seats in the place. Nothing but women (one poor guy that was there with his wife. & a nice gay couple hat sat behind me) wall to wall. Then the coolest thing I have ever seen happened. The previews ended, & the screne went black, the New Line Cinema graphic goes across the screne & when the theme music to the show started evryone stood up & cheered & clapped & hooted & hollered. It was like a the beginning of a rock concert! It went on for a good 2 minutes. It was amazing. I can't even describe the feeling I had. I have never seen anything like it. Girl Power all the way, baby!!_________________ Banner by the lovely LexCorinthos (\__/) (='.'=) (")_(") ****.-"'''''-.**** ^^ That one's mine^^ |

| I recently saw The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2 and it was pretty good, except for the ending. I thought it could have been done a lot better. |

I saw the movie on the first day it came out. I went with my mom and 20 of her teacher friends and I loved it! |

| Okay...I am almost embarrassed to admit this but... I saw Beverly Hills Chihuahua yesterday. It was really funny. I was soooooo not expecting that. I totally went against my will, not wanting to waste my money. But it was good, really good. I expected a theatre full of little kids, but most people there had kids elementary age and up. There were people there with no kids. There was a 12 yr old girl's birthday party there. If you need a good laugh...go see this movie. _________________ Banner by: Maxiefan! | I just remembered a couple of weeks ago I saw Igor. Not as great as the doggies. Definatley NOT for the little ones, although that was the dominant group in the theatre. By little ones I mean 6 and under. Not one family had kids as old as mine without younger ones there too. Theme was for older kids, dark, evil...while comedic in certain ways. My boys liked it but I can't say the other kids in the pretty empty theatre felt the same way. Not horrible, but not fabulous either. _________________ Banner by: Maxiefan!
