The question I’m getting the most… well the question I’ve been getting for a while now is the status of Steve Burton’s contract. Trust me, when we know, you’ll know and so far, I’ve got nothing more than GOSSIP and SPECULATION. Some say he’s still working out the kinks, others say he’s already signed. COULD Steve leave GH behind? I honestly wouldn’t be surprised if he did.

CRAZY RUMOR of the DAY… Is Mercedes involved in the murder mystery? Is she the killer?

More tweets? Sebastian Roche revealed on his twitter that he’ll be working with Kelly Monaco. RUMORS say it’ll be about Alexis and the trouble she’s in. Another CRAZY RUMOR has Alexis and Jerry hitting the sheets. I thought she was done with maniacal men? Will Kristina have something to say?

Lots of news yesterday… Stuart Damon is off to As the World Turns. Lisa LoCicero got contract. Sad to see Stuart go, despite GH not using Alan’s ghost lately, but I’m glad he’ll be back on TV. I like Olivia, so I’m happy for LoCicero. I have to agree with what Jamey said on the most recent ABC podcast, these shows need to start valuing the talent they have and stop looking elsewhere. It’s a common mistake made across the board on soaps. Soap fans are rich in the history of their shows and the writers and execs need to be aware of that.

News also broke recently that Lexi Ainsworth is now on contract as Kristina Davis-Corinthos. With Michael and Kristina in the spotlight, the GOSSIP has been that the siblings will be getting some pals. It’s starting with the Kiefer (Christian Alexander) character who has been put on recurring status. Would they upgrade Kiefer’s status only to make him the victim of the car accident? I say TPTB needs to look into the history of the show and bring on some kids that are already connected to the canvas. Any suggestions DC readers? Post them in the comments!

On the run… with RUMORS saying Kristina and Michael hit the road after the accident who will be involved? We’ve already heard that Jason and Sam take off after them. “Dominic” MAY be in on the hunt for his siblings. Jerry Jacks MIGHT even offer his assistance.

Will Nikolas learn the truth about Rebecca? RUMORS say he will! Does this have him turning to Elizabeth? Who’s conning who? Ethan thinks Rebecca doesn’t have her eye on the prize and we still need to add Helena into the equation. Rebecca MAY be making a move to placate Ethan for the time being but when Helena pops back into town, she wants Rebecca to really work over Nikolas. Will Ethan help Helena? RUMORS have said he will when Helena reveals she’s got Luke.

What about Lucky? RUMORS say he’ll team up with Ethan to save their pops but it SHOULD take some convincing on Ethan’s part for Lucky to even believe that Luke is Helena’s prisoner. Are Lucky and Ethan leaving town together?

Mother and Son… We’ve been talking about Sonny and Olivia, Sonny and Dante but not Dante and Olivia too much. Olivia tries to keep her secret as long as she can but will someone else learn the truth? Someone who hates Olivia? Kate knows, but she’s MIA. Patrick knows, but does he care enough to remember? Olivia will not be happy when she finds out that Dante is working for Sonny. Remember I mentioned Dante tries to assure his mom that he’s a good mobster. Is there more to this story? Will the “accident” have an impact on Sonny and Olivia? What about Jason? Will he accept “Dominic” into the biz? OLR RUMORS had said that once working for Sonny, “Dominic” would be Kristina’s guard.

Karaoke Night… Spinelli serenades Maxie. Diane, Rebecca, Maxie and Lulu take the stage. Patrick goes solo? He’ll be singing with his wife too. Lulu uses the night at Jake’s to once again try to get Lucky to like their brother.

CRAZY and RANDOM… The Accident… the car Sonny gave Michael is involved but who’s the driver? That Kiefer kid likes to start trouble. More Jason and Jake? Alexis’s emails are out and ready to be read by all. Carly is at Casa Corinthos when “Dominic” shows up. Is Rebecca going to move in with the Q’s too? How will that affect Michael?

Here’s the Scoop! 07.07.09

RUMORS, RUMORS, RUMORS… what should a GH fan believe? Better yet, what should a Greg Vaughan fan believe? RUMORS have said the actor was put on recurring status months ago despite some saying that simply wasn’t true. NOW we’re seeing more RUMORS that Lucky MAY be heading out of Port Charles. Is this to help his “brother” Ethan find their wayward father Luke? Or is there more behind this story? Of course with the POSSIBILTY of Lucky’s exit/time out, there is much SPECULATION on what this means for LL2, Elizabeth and Cam and Jake. Will there be a Nikolas-Elizabeth pairing? Will Jason spend more time with his son? Will there be danger ahead?

Speaking of Nikolas and Elizabeth… I said I’d rather them than a LL2 re-do but I’m not 100% sold on them as a pairing. RUMORS say Nikolas starts to realize that Rebecca isn’t Emily and questions her actions. He SHOULD share his reservations with Elizabeth who is determined to expose Rebecca for the liar she is.

Dominic/Dante… from now on I’m just going to call him Dante. That’s who he is, there’s really no point in calling him Dominic. There’s a scene coming up with Dante and Jason at the Penthouse. So what’s going on with Jason and Dante? Well with Dante getting a job with the organization he’ll have to answer to Jason who doesn’t really like him too much. Will we see them working together? I’d rather see Jason and Johnny teaming up.





A doc with a broken finger? Who’s breaking the digit? RUMOR has it that Matt MAY be stepping up.

Is Johnny falling hard for Olivia? Will he lose her to Sonny? What will happen between Sonny and Olivia when the truth comes out? RUMOR has it Sonny and Olivia smooch but will he cry betrayal when he learns she’s kept his son away from him? After the above mentioned smooch, Olivia MAY be protesting a little too much. She swears she’ll never go to bed with Sonny, ever again.





Jason-Sam…It looks like Kelly Monaco got to keep some of the costumes from PEEPshow. It’s a bum ankle that has Jason giving her a lift. Will Jason and Sam find themselves stranded? RUMORS say yes and they have Dante to thank for that.





Michael and Kristina… Will there be more fighting? It looks like Michael’s duel with Kristina’s friend Kiefer isn’t over. SPOILERS say Kristina MAY be fighting off Kiefer’s advances. Will Michael save the day?

Accident… We have a murdered mistress and a political scandal but I keep hearing about this accident. Is it Kristina and Michael in a hit and run that sends the siblings on the run? Remember those OLD RUMORS that Claudia is the one hit by the car? Those COULD be true and Kiefer MAY know that the Corinthos siblings were behind the wheel. Will he taunt them with what he knows? Will Michael fess up or try to cover it up? Will it be too late to fess up when Sonny as his typical self thinks its mob related and is already retaliating before he gets the facts? SPOILER or FANFIC… IF Claudia is the one hit, RUMOR has it she’ll be rushed to GH and as they fight to save the baby, Sonny learns it’s his baby. Michael is insulted and Sonny isn’t happy.

RANDOM and CRAZY… Will Kristina learn about Sam bedding their step-father? What’s up with Mercedes? Is Steve Burton negotiating more time off and a shorter work week? Will Lulu and Dante be the next pairing? Rebecca and Ethan’s scam MAY be up soon but what about all those Helena RUMORS? Dante as a bodyguard? Who’s? Kristina or Claudia’s? Will Sonny and Olivia have more than just one kiss? RUMOR has it a phone call about an accident stops the old flames from taking it any further. Will Dante take off after his siblings in an attempt to prove something to Sonny? CarJax finally gets their new house. Claudia takes a paternity test and its Sonny’s baby. Will Claudia confront Olivia when she figures out that Dominic is Dante and Dante is Sonny’s son? Will Alexis be arrested?

What about Kate? Have they forgotten about the fashionista? I know her fans haven’t forgotten about her. Apparently she’s still on vacation and as I’ve mentioned already, one THEORY is that Kate MAY never return to PC. It’s POSSIBLE that she will call and say she’s not coming back. What does that mean for Crimson? A RUMOR has Jax asking Olivia to step in and run the mag temporarily. Another SPOILER says that Kate has a surprise for Maxie. Is the surprise that she’s not coming back? I think Carly would be the better fit to become Editor in Chief.

Who killed Brianna Hughes? The Mayor didn’t do it and Robin suspects the jealous wife. The GOSSIP says that while they originally planned to have Andrea be the killer, it MAY be changed due to Martha Byrne’s success with the fans. Mercedes’ name continues to pop up in conjunction with this storyline. Could the nanny have something to do with it? Andrea wants to take the heat off her and starts to frame Alexis with some incriminating emails. Eventually, Alexis is cleared and the real killer is exposed.

Claudia and Sonny… With JOlivia a smash hit and RUMORS that there MAY be a triangle in the works (Claudia-Sonny-Olivia) where are they going with all this because it doesn’t seem that TPTB are listening to the fans on this one. There’s a Sonny-Olivia kiss coming and then another smooch fest that almost leads to more. A phone call about the accident has them stopping in their tracks. Claudia’s hit and RUMORS have said one of Sonny’s kids is behind the wheel. Is it Michael or Kristina who ran down their step-mom? Will Kiefer keep their secret? Is this what sends them on the run? I know the kid has brain damage but he has memories. Shouldn’t Michael remember what happened the last time he was involved with hurting his father’s lady?

Elizabeth wants to expose Rebecca for the con woman that she is. Sure she’s Emily’s twin but she’s not here to make nice with her long lost twin’s loved ones. She’s here to scam them as a way to pay back Emily for getting the better life. I can’t get into this story at all. The pairing of Nikolas and Rebecca bores me to tears and you all know how I feel about Ethan. Something has to give in this story. Will Ethan be the one to give Elizabeth the info she needs? What will Nikolas do IF and WHEN he finds out the truth? Will Ethan’s involvement only piss Lucky off more? Remember RUMORS have the brothers hitting the road in search of Luke.

CRAZY RUMOR that someone is presumed dead. Who could it be? More RANDOM and CRAZY… Claudia and Baby are in danger. Will Dante have a working proposition for Claudia? Don’t forget about the other pregnant lady, Carly passes out again. This show drives me batty with how they write pregnancies. Remember, there’s still that other newbie coming. Ronnie is said to be in on the mob action. CRAZY CRAZY CRAZY RUMOR that Emma Drake is in some danger and she MAY be kidnapped! Is this where Mercedes fits in? Except for the clearing out of the Zaccharra soldiers, we haven’t had a mob threat in a while. Is that about to change?

Spixie Loving… I’ve been sold on this pairing for a while now even though I thought JoMax was smoking. My hesitation has always been that I just didn’t see TPTB committing to Spixie. Well it SEEMS they are and I couldn’t be happier. Now, we all know that Guza loves to have at least one couple that is angst ridden on this show. This COULD be Spixie. They APPEAR to be on the right track however every road has a few bumps along the way. Spin has a “proposal” for Maxie and she’s just not sure what to do about it. SPOILERS say it’s “that” kind of proposal and The Jackal turns to his master for assistance. It looks like a romantic rooftop scene is set for the big question with Spinelli dropping the ring off the roof.

So many of you have said you’re bored with Rebecca, Ethan, Nikolas and this whole mess. How would you write them out of this terrible storyline? What’s coming up? Ethan’s a jealous lover but he’s also a jilted con who at least wants his piece of the pie. Will Ethan confront Nikolas? Over what? Will Ethan make an adjustment to the plan?

Dante wants in… and apparently he knows he’s got get past Jason first. He wants Sonny’s right hand man to trust him. Now, would the Jason Morgan of old trust the man that was part of a Z soldier ambush and then held Morgan, Michael and Carly at gunpoint? Remember, as of now, Dante wants to take Sonny down.

Claudia is seeing green as well. She has plenty to hate Olivia over. Not only is Kate’s cousin sleeping with Johnny but Sonny can’t stand it and Claudia has had enough of the Bensonhurst transplant. Claudia doesn’t like Sonny spending time with Olivia, Sonny and Johnny exchange words over Olivia and Miss Olivia has plenty on her plate trying to keep Dante’s identity a secret.

HAHA Yes it does feel like it Greg, yes it does. Let me explain how I pick what is spilled. Unless it’s from a reliable source, I tend to sit on some things until I see it mentioned more. Now, there are the CRAZY RUMORS that I’ll give you guys. Those are always the most fun to comment about. In this case however, there has been a good deal of reports that Vaughan had been put on recurring. Also, a few months back the fan club president for both Greg and Rick Hearst encouraged fans to write and call in support of both actors. We all know how things ended up for Hearst. I love Greg Vaughan and the character of Lucky Spencer but for some reason he doesn’t get that same love from TPTB. Greg also tweeted: PLEASE! SPEAK YOUR MIND!! IT'S YOUR PRIVILEGE AS DEDICATED FANS, RIGHT? LET ME HEAR YOUR VOICE, AND WHAT WOULD YOU LIKE TO SEE HAPPEN?? Call in, write, email… support Greg Vaughan if you’d like to see him and Lucky more.

There was a question about the studio going dark that I did not get to yesterday. Yes the shutdown is a cost saving measure however; there has been plenty of TALK that during that time, some changes to the story COULD be made. With a lot of fans frustrated with the state of General Hospital right now as well as the dwindling ratings, I would hope they would take that time to reevaluate the direction of the show. As a long time fan, there are some major missteps occurring – at least IMO – that would be helped by some minor readjustments. Now, as a long time fan who feels I have a right to complain a bit, a major overhaul would probably help more. However, as someone who’s gotten a little more insight into this industry, I know that takes time and GH needs to start improving in the ratings department pronto.

Speaking of CRAZY RUMORS… there is all this talk about the upcoming accident. Who’s driving, who’s the victim and what’s the fallout. There have been lots of reports that Michael and Kristina go on the run after the hit and run with Kristina’s boyfriend Kiefer having some info that could do some damage to the Corinthos siblings. Is this sort of a re-do of the night Sam was hit? Remember all the possible suspects? Here’s where it gets a little crazy. There are some REPORTS, maybe FANFIC that says Kristina and Michael are not the only ones on the road that night. They say that a drunken Alexis MAY also be heading down that same stretch of road, Claudia is still the RUMORED victim but now Carly has been added to the mix. Will she be looking for something of Morgan’s on the side of the road? Who else do you think will just happen to be there that night? Here’s more of what we know… Carly finds Claudia in an overturned car and drags her out before the car goes up in smoke. Jason is suspicious of Michael who confides in Kristina that he could have been the one to run Claudia off the road. But was Kristina also out on the road that night? Carly saw the car that did it but she’s not convinced it was Michael’s car. She MAY even be the one to point the finger in Alexis’s direction. Will Carly and Sonny team up to prove their son’s innocence? Kiefer wants Kristina to clam up but when her brother is arrested (he’s Sonny’s son, he’s not in that long) will she tell Sam what she was doing the night of the accident? Alexis is ready to blame everything on Michael until Sam tells her that Kristina could be at fault.

Ingo Rademacher hasn’t taken a vacation in a while. He’s sort of a mini- Tony Geary with his vacations. There is some TALK that Jax MAY be leaving Carly once again on one of his “trips.” When Jerry heads back out, will Jax follow his brother? Does it make sense for Jax to leave a pregnant wife who is considered high risk?

Sonny gives “Dominic” a chance. Claudia and he fight over it which has Sonny going to Olivia’s. Is this where they kiss or is this when the kiss almost leads to more? Two steps forward and a million steps back for Claudia and Sonny. Carly gets the call from the Country Club and then calls Sonny for a little back-up. Is Carly going clairvoyant on us? RUMORS say she’ll feel that something bad is about to happen.

No, the show will not be off the air. They taped extra eps in the weeks leading up. So, we won't see the break.

Here’s the Scoop! 07.14.09

Is Kristina behind the wheel? Will this help repair whatever is broken between Kristina and Alexis? Will we finally get a father – daughter scene with Kristina and Sonny? Sam and Jason think it was one of Sonny’s offspring that caused the accident that lands Claudia and her baby in the hospital. Kiefer’s on the scene! Kristina’s “boyfriend” is at the scene of the accident. Will he use what he knows against his girl? Will he be the one telling Kristina to keep her mouth shut even when her brother is accused of running their step-mom down?





He’s the father… or is he? Did Sonny’s super sperm strikes again? Kelly Lee says the baby is his, not Ric’s but is she covering for her patient? With Ric long gone from PC it makes more sense for the baby to be Sonny’s although I think we can all agree the last thing Sonny needs is another child. There’s still that accident coming and RUMOR has it that Claudia is enroute to Sonny to tell him he is the father. Will Claudia lose the baby? SPOILERS say that Robin and Patrick are on Claudia’s case and tell her what her options are. One RUMOR says Claudia must choose surgery or her baby. Will Sonny have regrets over his treatment of his wife?





Dominic / Dante wants in… Claudia wants him far far away and Uncle Rudy is still RUMORED to be coming to Port Chuck. The GOSSIP is that TPTB want a big name prime-time actor to play Uncle Rudy; sort of along the lines of Bruce Weitz. Will Olivia be happy when she finds out her son is working for his father? Will Johnny question Olivia’s interest in Sonny’s new hire? Are those OLD RUMORS true? Is Dante an undercover agent? Mike Corbin sighting! Mike is renting his grandson a room at Kelly’s!





Ethan wants cash and Rebecca ain’t paying up. Will Ethan go straight to the source and blow Rebecca’s scam sky high? Will Rebecca work over the Quartermaines to get Ethan off her back? Remember those RUMORS that Rebecca wouldn’t be a tenant at Wyndamere? It looks like Edward is willing to give her some cash in exchange for her residing at the Q Mansion.

More Elizabeth? I’m happy if this one is true. RUMOR has it Elizabeth will be on more in conjunction with Nikolas’s story and there are still those pesky RUMBLINGS that a Nikolas – Elizabeth hook up is coming.

More CGI? Please, no. I know some fans like the special effects; I think it’s just another glaring example of how GH mismanages funds. RUMORS and tweets have Jerry Jacks and Jason Morgan in front of the green screen. Remember there is some TALK that Jerry sets an explosion.





Carly’s baby… With her sorority sounding ZBT condition, Carly MAY have more problems coming up. She’ll be on the side of the road the night of the accident looking for something of Morgan’s. Will she be hurt or simply a witness? She’s a witness and a savior as SPOILERS say Carly pulls Claudia out of her car before it goes BOOM! Is that all too much stress for the high risk mom? SPOILERS go on to say that Carly passes out and there are two CRAZY RUMORS out there. One says Carly is pregnant with twins and the other has Carly developing a heart condition.

Lord help me… Sonny and Olivia weren’t too bad yesterday. Thoughts? Actually, I must give some credit to TPTB and writers at GH, shocking, I know. I loved all the Jake’s scenes. The last few days of GH have been truly enjoyable.
