The carnival and – in particular—what the fortune teller predicts will serve as the next few month’s cliffhanger stories.
Many people may love carnivals and the carnival atmosphere, but Spinelli harbors a secret coulrophobia. To defeat it, he dons a clown outfit himself.
Anthony uses the carnival as a means of dispensing with Sonny and having a little fun at Sonny’s expense. Word is, plenty of Port Charles residents have reason to avoid the carnival.
Sam takes Kristina aside and dispenses some wisdom about morals and values and honesty.
Jason and Sam head back to Port Charles with Michael and Kristina in tow.

Kristina comes forward and blames herself for the car accident, when speaking with her dad, Sonny.
Sonny acts apathetic about Kristina’s confession, which manages to have the wrong effect on the impressionable, needy young lady. She presumes her dad doesn’t care about her.
Michael balked at first, but resigns himself to face the music with his parents and stuff.
Kiefer badmouths Michael to Alexis. He acts like the upstanding citizen, while attacking Michael as the bad boy from the wrong side of the tracks out to lead Kristina astray.
Sonny intends on giving his kids some fun for a change, at the carnival.
Kristina attends the carnival and seeks out a fortune teller who’s almost too good at her game. Kristina’s fortune isn’t so great though.
Carly notices Jason and Sam have hooked up again. She prescribes that Jason let Sam know what’s really going on in his heart.
Spinelli and Maxie also notice the JaSam hotness. They’re fixin’ to do something about it, like bring about more.
Jason and Sam plan on going to the carnival together, but she tries to second-guess whether it’s what he really wants.
Sam can’t believe her luck when Jason insists he does want to be her date to the carnival.
Carly demands to know why Jax is hot and cold and hot and cold, etc., about Dominic.
Sonny makes his wish known to Carly and Jax – for Dominic to be Michael and Morgan’s bodyguard.
At first, Michael is not so sure about having Dominic guard him.
But when Michael has a chance to get to know Dominic more, he’s okay with it.
Claudia tunes into Sonny and Alexis’s private conversation about Kristina. The part about them doing whatever it takes to keep Kristina consequence-free … really riles Claudia up.
Claudia doesn’t care if Kristina is only a child and the child of Sonny. Kristina caused the miscarriage, Kristina must pay with her own life.
Jason passes on what Jerry supposedly confessed to Sonny; that being, Claudia wasn’t involved in the hit that put Michael in a coma.
Relieved, Sonny feels he can trust Claudia more now.
Jax intends on revealing Claudia’s true role in Michael’s shooting – once Carly’s given birth to their Christ child.
Even when Jax has a chance to be honest with Sonny, he chooses to wait for the right moment.
Max says Diane has only been seeing him for the booty calls.
Elizabeth and Lucky behold Nikolas and Rebecca together, as if nothing bad previously happened.
Elizabeth takes Nikolas to task for his revenge fantasies put in motion.
Edward makes the fatal error of blithely placing Andrea leaving the scene of the crime (Metro Court) when the mayor’s mistress perished.
Andrea arranges to poison Edward to death, but something goes off-kilter, sparing the man – for now.
Andrea doesn’t intend to give up on removing her one, star witness.
Robin concludes that Edward could be key to putting Andrea behind bars, but only if she gets to him first.
Next week: Jason walks by, stops, and witnesses Elizabeth, his former girlfriend Elizabeth, locking lips with another man, Nikolas… Andrea succeeds in putting contaminates into Edward’s system… Edward’s action put other characters in trouble. Maybe he gets behind the wheel of a car intoxicated (because of Andrea) and causes little Jake severe bodily harm… Robin provides the near-conclusion of her murder mystery to Mac and Edward… Andrea buys the farm… When Edward realizes the extent of damage he’d done, he is mortified… Michael tells off Kiefer, and orders him to leave Kristina be… Kristina’s gone MIA… Alexis tries not to be hysterical as she realizes her precious Kristina is nowhere to be found… Michael remembers something else from his past, but it’s not directly about Claudia, it’s about Jax… Patrick stumbles on what Olivia’s been hiding… Bad things start happening at the carnival. A church goes clink-boom! Anthony lets loose his goons on unsuspecting carnival attendees. Spinelli does something noble. Johnny thrusts himself into the fiery fray to keep Spinelli unscathed. Johnny faces the Grim Reaper. Dominic takes a hit, going down, requiring surgery and a major transplant. Dominic’s condition forces Olivia to nearly give up the ghost to Sonny… Olivia resolves to keep silent about Dominic to Sonny, after all that… Jason and Sam find their old magic, as they turn up their superhero qualities.
